LINKS TO BUSINESS

New Mentor Portal

Welcome to the New Mentor portal. Below you will find a list of websites on the New Mentor domain. Click on the link to the site you wish to visit. In 2008 I spent two weeks in Central America visiting some of the major archaeological sites of the Maya as well as seeing the sights and people of Guatemala. Here are some of the pictures I took. I live on the island of Crete and this gives me the opportunity to photograph Crete when it is at its best - in the winter and early spring.

Crete in pictures

The site is divided into the four prefectures that make up Crete. As the site expands new pages will be added within each prefecture. I plan to keep adding to these photos so come back and check if there is anything new. Click on the thumbnails to see the full size picture. Pictures are best viewed in a darkened room with the brightness and contrast suitably adjusted.

Mayan civilization

This website contains photos taken by Ian Swindale, a member of the group who went on the Adventure Company Realm of the Maya holiday in early 2008. Click on any photo to go to the relevant page, where you can click on any thumbnail to see the full size picture. You can download as many photos as you like to your computer provided they are only for personal use. If you wish to comment on the site you can contact me here. Is a small Mayan site noted for its frescoes.

Rhodes and Symi in Pictures

With these photographs, taken in 1988, I hope to show you a side of Rhodes that you may not see in the holiday brochures, although I have included photos of some of the more famous sites as well. Click on the thumbnails to see the full size picture. Pictures are best viewed in a darkened room with the brightness and contrast suitably adjusted. Rhodes - the old town 1. Rhodes - the old town 2. Dull is the eye that will not weep to see. Thy walls defaced, thy mouldering shrines removed. By British hands, which it had best behoved. Curst be the hour when from their isle they roved,.
